Look What Santa Brought Me!

This fortnight at we're giving you a chance to show off the fabulous new crafty gifts you acquired over the holidays. Or, if you were somehow (mistakenly, of course!) on the naughty list, you can swap in something you treated yourself to in the January sales; or even just an item you've had for a bit but not yet used. Sound like fun? Yeah, we thought so too!

Here's what we made:

Lauren says, "My friend Gina knew that I *LOVED* 2018's "Jingle" collection from Authentique, and that I'd be super-excited to revisit it; she found a complete set that even had the cardstock stickers and punch-outs! So my plan for this week was basically to use as much of it as possible on one A7 card and I have achieved that goal. I've got an oversized journal card, two punch-outs and one style of patterned paper; which I supplemented with red glitter and shimmer cardstocks, plus a few elderly white gems which sort of suggested snow to me!"

Stephanie's Card

Stephanie says, "Since I am my own Santa, I got exactly what I wanted for Christmas ... like these stamps from new releases at Reverse Confetti.  I just loved the Candy Canes with Holly (colored with Spectrum Noir Markers) from Reverse Confetti Joys of the Season ... and I even took the time to let some red Stickles dry on the Holly Berries (yep, I'm normally a very impatient crafter).  Sentiment is from the limited edition Reverse Confetti Snowflakes.  I found some fun candy cane paper in my stash and finished with a wrap of candy cane twine."

  1. Wonderful creations, ladies! Just like Stephanie, I am my own Santa (which is probably why I struggled with the first prompt of the year) and I have several new goodies to prove it. In addition, the last of my Black Friday orders finally made their way to me this past week. Now all I have to decide is what to play with first...
