Our 2025 Favorites

It's nearly time to kick-off the next Jingle Belles season, which we'll do at 12:01am EST on January 1, 2026; but first, let's take a little bit of time to look back on 2025 and choose a few favorites. Stephanie says, "My card was for JB2520 - Home for the Holidays.  I love how this little Concord & 9th scene came together with the perfect combination of dimension and white space ... and that smoky blue, grey, and sage green color combination was perfection ... and of course, there's also that tiny little wreath on the door."

One of Lauren's 2025 Faves

Lauren says, "This card is from JB2517: The Spirit of Christmas Past, for which we were tasked to make a card that featured actual vintage or vintage style elements. This card has a bit of both. It's less colorful than many of my faves but I loved making this AND I love how it turned out, both of which are always a big win, imo!"

2024 Favorites

December is an excellent time to look back on our crafty year; so without further ado, here's one each of Stephanie's and Lauren's favorite Jingle Belles cards; the bolded text below the photos link to our personal blogs where you can check out the rest of our 2024 Fave Five lists!

Stephanie says, "This was one of my cards for the Sweet EMBOSS-able You prompt.  I just love how the texture, inky goodness, shimmer spray, and layered die cut sentiment all came together for a gorgeous, but still mailable, design."

One of Lauren's 2024 Faves

 Lauren says, "I went more or less chronological with my picks this time, so my first choice is from the second week of JB2404: Text Me, which ran early in February. Stephanie had given me this awesome Uniko Christmas Block Party stamp a few years ago, and although I don't use it nearly enough, I always LOVE the results when I do. Oh and it's great for incorporating a bunch of Eyelet Outlet Brads and Bling, too, as you can see!"

We'll be starting the new Jingle Belles' season on January 1, 2025 and we'd love to see you then. As always, there's no need to make a commitment; play as often as you can find the time and feel inspired! We realize that the first few months it seems funny to be making holiday cards "out of season" but on the plus side, cruising in to a hyper-busy December with the bulk of one's holiday cards FINISHED is the best feeling ever! Feel free to link as many new cards as fit the current prompt; make extras when you have the time and energy; and if you skip a few weeks or months just hop back in whenever you can. There's no judgement here, just crafty friends hanging out and cheering each other on! Wishing you the happiest of holiday seasons and that 2025 will be your most creative year yet! 

Five Faves of 2023

Last year we started a fun new tradition where each of us (Stephanie and Lauren) looked back on all of our Jingle Belles/Christmas cards from the year and picked five favorites. Stephanie says, "The combination of recycled packaging, handmade paper, sentiment stripes, pearl flourishes and glittery poinsettias came together for a wonderful Neutral Noel."

One of Lauren's Favorites

Lauren says, "Prima's Candy Cane Lane line is one of my all-time favorite holiday paper collections, and this card is loaded with various bits of it, though the glittery pink snowflakes and classic Memory Box Jingle Bells (thank you Ms. Lorraine!) cut from velvet paper miiiiight be what takes this one over the top for me. Plus... it's PINK!"

Once again, a reminder that Jingle Belles will return on January 1, 2024 with a new prompt every other week and an inspiring card from both Stephanie and myself every week until the end of November. Lauren says, "I adore this Tim Holtz/Sizzix Ice Skates die, and it only has a few elements, but mysteriously, it always takes longer than I think it will to piece out all the parts and make it into a card; thus it gets used only a few times a year.
