Put a RING on It

and the cluster of jingle belles reminded us of the spinning disco ball.

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell Rock

We're still ringing those Jingle Bells this week ... creating cards that feature at least one bell.

Here's what we're ringing this week:

Lauren says, "I love that so many paper companies include journal cards in their paper lines and I tend to snap them up, because they're the perfect kickstart to a card design. This one hails from Simple Stories' "Claus and Co" line from a few years ago. I added a little handstitching, a pair of Eyelet Outlet Holly Brads and a scattering of EO Star Sequins (attached with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive, perfect for the job); then matted and added a few trimmings et voila! An almost instant A7 holiday card that's flat and mailable, but still has enough texture to be interesting!"

Stephanie says, "My Jingle Bell this week is from Reverse Confetti and is framed by an alcohol ink background and greens and golds.  I finished with several holly leaf die cuts from the same Reverse Confetti Joys of the Season Set paired with a sentiment sticker."

Christmas Bells Those Christmas Bells

This week the Jingle Belles are asking you to break out your Jingle Bells ... create a card that features at least one Bell ... it could be a Silver Bell, a Golden Bell, a Tinkling Bell; Church Bells, Sleigh Bells ... any kind of Bell.

Here are what we have ringing this week.

Stephanie says, "I used three dies from Impression Obsession for my card this week.  The All-in-One Frame Oval was die cut from Embossed patina paper.  Then I die cut the Ringing Bells and Peace Typewriter Sentiment from Gold Glitter Paper and attached with foam tape for a clean & simple design."

Lauren says, "This card took an embarrassingly long time to make, considering it consists only of panels of Authentique patterned paper from my lss, Paper Anthology (who, btw, have just added an awesome online storefront!) which you would think would seriously limit how much dithering a person could do; but alas, no. I fell in love with this week's awesome Sketch Saturday (#608) and became obsessed with finding exactly the right image to go in each shape. On the other hand, I'm pleased with the result and there are worse things than wallowing in your collection of beautiful holiday papers, right?"

Link your Beautiful Bell-Bedecked creations here by 6pm (EST) on Wednesday, May 20th. Keyword for galleries and Flickr is JB:20:10.
