So many awesome cards uploaded for our Twelve Days of Christmas / True Love prompt.

perfect Twelfth Day of Christmas Card.

A Deena's Card

created a card for each of the Twelve Days of Christmas

using a variation on a theme in her design to make each one

slightly different ... we loved the red hearts to.

My True Love Gave to Me

We're still celebrating the fun categories from that old holiday favorite, "The Twelve Days of Christmas" (a reminder of those is below) OR you can choose to make an extra-special holiday card for your True Love OR you can make a holiday card that features hearts. Lots of choices, we hope you'll find something to inspire you!

Here's what we made this week:

Lauren's Other Card

Lauren says, "I've done a bit of a tangential version of "Five Gold Rings"! I used my classic Nestie Circle Dies to cut five round frames from gold Idea-Ology cardstock; then cut circles of red patterned papers to frame up, and arranged them in a design that also incorporates some ancient Prima poinsettias as well as an Echo Park sentiment; and still fits nicely inside my 6" square card."

Stephanie's Other Card

Stephanie says, "There are a lot of animals in the 12 days of Christmas, but I don't remember any Bunny Rabbits.  However, the cute Lawn Fawn Snow Day Collection has some True Love and Hearts going on in the snowy woods.  I added a few tiny enamel hearts between the sentiments on the paper strip and blinged out the holiday tree to finish the design."

Twelve Days of Christmas

This week's Jingle Belles Prompt has multiple options. As the song the Twelve Days of Christmas suggests, you can create a holiday card for your *True Love* or for any other extra-special person in your life.  

An alternative is to create a holiday card with a heart (or hearts) on it.  

And your final choice is to create a holiday card that references any aspect of the song *The Twelve Days of Christmas*. Just make sure you let us know which option (or options) you're choosing for your design.

Here's how we were inspired:

Stephanie's Card

Stephanie says, "I combined the first amd second option to make a true love card & include some hearts.  I started with a Red Metallic Shimmer Gel Press Print that I then embossed with a heart embossing folder.  I applied direct-to-paper red ink to bring out the heart pattern.  Next I stamped, colored, and detail cut two adorable skating polar bears from Impression Obsession Cool Yule.  I die cut a stitched landscape & stamped the sentiment and die cut with a Spellbinders Tag That! Die.  The design & colors of my card were inspired by the Inspiration Photo at Just Us Girls Challenge."

Lauren's Card

Lauren says, "I also employed two out of three, by putting "Four Calling Birds" inside a heart! My "calling birds" are Eyelet Outlet Cardinal, Cardinal Profile and Female Cardinal Brads. Now, I'm not sure exactly what type of birds were intended by the carol, but Cardinals are not really known for their song... unless you count some serious squawking when another bird gets too close to something they consider theirs lol; but they look pretty cute, don't they? I've added some diecut greens and placed my heart frame on a background of vintage sheet music set off with a bit of Wide Brick Washi and a scattering of tiny red Star Sequins."
