It's Almost 2026...

Our 2025 Favorites

It's nearly time to kick-off the next Jingle Belles season, which we'll do at 12:01am EST on January 1, 2026; but first, let's take a little bit of time to look back on 2025 and choose a few favorites. Stephanie says, "My card was for JB2520 - Home for the Holidays.  I love how this little Concord & 9th scene came together with the perfect combination of dimension and white space ... and that smoky blue, grey, and sage green color combination was perfection ... and of course, there's also that tiny little wreath on the door."

One of Lauren's 2025 Faves

Lauren says, "This card is from JB2517: The Spirit of Christmas Past, for which we were tasked to make a card that featured actual vintage or vintage style elements. This card has a bit of both. It's less colorful than many of my faves but I loved making this AND I love how it turned out, both of which are always a big win, imo!"

Banner Beauties

This fortnight, being the last prompt of the year, makes it especially difficult to only choose three cards. So of course  we highly recommend you take a good scroll through all the entries, and soak up the fabulous inspiration! Meanwhile, here are three cards that caught our eye:

Bonnie Lynn of Stampin' in the Light

...was inspired by the sparkly snow and evergreens in the blog banner, then added a festive holiday village to her perfectly wintery background!

Lesley G of Lesley's Craft Room

...chose the colors, snow and glitter, then used a clever and graphic diagonal split for maximum drama AND the super-efficient ability to make cards two-at-a-time, woohoo!

Bobby of Bits and Pieces

...went full on with the trees, the snow and even a white glitter sentiment on her artful and inky card... be still our hearts!

Blog Banner Inspiration

It's the final week of the 2025 Jingle Belles season (no worries, we'll be back on January 1, 2026!) and thus here is one more pair of cards inspired by our 2025 Jingle Belles Blog Header:

Here's what we made this week:

Lauren's Other Card

Lauren says, "This week, I had planned to use most of the elements from the banner, but put them on an all-white card. Thus I set about diecutting Spellbinders Bottle Brush Trees and Sunny Studio Snowflakes from various types of white cardstock. As I was getting ready to make my mostly-white background, I happened to find this torn and stitched panel that I must've made sometime last year, and it was EXACTLY the right size! Plus, it kind of looked like rolling hills to me; and also had the same tealish, blueish, greenish shades as the blog header... (plus a bunch of pink and brown bokeh too) ...and I thought, "All-righty then, job done!"

Stephanie's Other Card

Stephanie says, "I cut a scrap of designer paper into all different random triangles and then used them to assemble my tree starting at the base (inspired by the tree on the right side of the banner).  I finished with silver stars, bling decorations, and a sentiment from Kristina Werner's Inside Holiday Greetings Stamps."

Banner Holiday

Can you believe we've reached the final Jingle Belles prompt of the 2025 season? This year just RACED past at lightning speed! For the last few years, we've ended with a challenge inspired by the Jingle Belles Blog Banner, which this year looked a bit like this:

You can choose as many aspects of the banner as you like: maybe you can't get enough of the color palette; maybe the sparkly white letters and jeweled snowflakes rock your crafty boat; perhaps it's the watercolor vibe or the frosty trees that you love? Any or all of those are great choices; just be sure to let us know what aspect(s) inspired you if it isn't obvious.

Here's what we made this week:

Stephanie's Card

Stephanie says, "I combined two setts of adhesive letters with a collection of silver glitter snowflakes & silver bling for this flat mailable holiday card.  It's also perfect for the Teal & Silver Color Hues Challenge."

Lauren's Card

Lauren Says, "Yes, my card is VERY literal; and NOOOOO yours need not be!!! As I was thinking about the header, I realized that I owned real-life versions of nearly every feature, so I just grabbed ALL of them and got to work. I found an ancient Webster's Pages vellum sheet of exactly the right shade; Stampabilities' "Jingle All the Way" die looks pretty fab in white glitter cardstock; Taylored Expressions' Evergreens are each cut twice (once from white and once from scraps of blueish green or greenish blue); and the background is made sparkly with several Want2Scrap Bling Snowflakes. Job done!"

Delicious Leftovers

It turns out there are LOTS of crafters who save up their "Holiday Leftovers" and have some pretty brilliant ways to use them! So if you haven't checked out the Readers' Gallery yet, we highly recommend taking a good scroll through all the entries, so as not to miss any of the fabulous inspiration. ...shows that small dies + colorful scraps are an outstanding way to make a unique and beautiful background pattern!

Jacinda of LazzieJ's Crafting Corner

...rescued a vivid black and gold embossed panel from a crafty experiment and gave it a beautiful new life as a festive coffee cup on this clever card and giftcard holder!

Marina of My Perfect Life

...combined unrelated leftovers from her work desk and made a masterpiece of both whimsy and minimalism. Seriously... who could resist that reindeer?!
