CASE-tacular

We had so much fun seeing how our cards inspired your designs.
Here are a few that were particularly fun.

did a fantastic job incorporated Lauren's ribbony background with her adorable snowman family ... the snowflake embellishments were perfection.

rocked Lauren's big bold ornament inspiration ... isn't that background dreamy.

did a fantastic job translating the inspiration from Lauren's big bold blooms ... this looks absolutely lovely in shades of silver.

We'll see you back at midnight for the next *metallic* Jingle Belles prompt.

It Came Upon a Midnight CASE

We're still asking you to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) any of the cards that Lauren or Stephanie have made for one of the Jingle Belles prompts (yep, you've got 9 ½ years of cards to choose from).

Be sure to tell us and link to what card inspired you.

Here is how we were inspired by each other.

Inspired by this card of Stephanie's:

Lauren says, "I chose this design of Stephanie's from the Stars and/or Stripes challenge back in July. I was pretty faithful to the original, though instead of using a a fun variety of starry and striped patterns to unify my inchies, I chose to combine papers from Prima's "Christmas in the Country" collection, which has plenty of nice small motifs. Since my squares are just a smidge over an inch AND I matted them as well, I elected to move my sentiment up on top of my grid to keep my card size just under A7. I did scatter some Eyelet Outlet Star Brads and Sequins on top, though, because that's one of my favorite elements in the inspo card."

inspired by this card of Lauren's:

Stephanie says, "I just loved the circle punch wreath that Lauren made for our Merry & Bright inspiration challenge in May 2013.  I used some foreign texty designer paper and all of the circle punches in my stash.  I intended to use several colors, but I found so many cool scraps of paper in my green scrap folder, I went monochromatic.  I also added lots of green bling.  Instead of ribbon & a heart, I used glitter punched snowflakes and a piece of green flair for my sentiment."

CASE a Jingle Belle

Since September 7th will be Labor Day in the US, we've decided to celebrate by giving you a bit of a head start with this week's card design.

We're asking you to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) any of the cards that Lauren or Stephanie have made for one of the Jingle Belles prompts (yep, you've got 9 ½ years of cards to choose from).

Be sure to tell us and link to what card inspired you.

Here is how we were inspired by each other:

based on this Inspiration Card by Lauren:

Stephanie says, "Lauren and I both love our Washi ... so I chose her fabulous washi card from our Inspiration Post in April of 2018.  I used teal and red for my criss-cross washi background and replaced her journal card with a stamped Silhouette Song Bird from Unity Stamp Company (which meant I needed to rotate the layout from horizontal to vertical).  I framed my image with punched snowflakes and some bling.  This was so fun and therapeutic to make."

based on this Inspiration Card by Stephanie:

Lauren says, "As soon as we started talking about this challenge, I knew I wanted to make the Yeti card from week two of our critter-themed challenge in October of last year. My only obstacle was that I literally had NONE of the products Stephanie used in her card, lol. Luckily I found Taylored Expressions' adorable "Mythical Grumplings" set at Paper Anthology, which gave me cute the Yeti and most of the sentiment. The rest of the elements were improvised using the closest things I had in my stash: a slightly larger tree die; similar stitched hills, and even a pale green snowflake patterned paper! Since my Yeti stamps were not holiday-themed, I added some holiday lights stickers, but I think they're a pretty good fit."
