Here's what we made this week:
Stephanie says, "I decided to go searching through my vast designer paper collection for text ... and I found it in Shimelle's American Crafts Christmas Magic Collection. I went searching for one of the characters in the 12 Days of Christmas for my focal image ... but finally decided if the song were written today, surely there would be a Penguin (and his tiny snowman friend). My inspiration and sketch came from the Fusion Card Challenge and stamps are from Essentials by Ellen Arctic Pals & Ugly Sweater Accessories stamped on the EBE Aline Snowfall Die Cut ."
Lauren says, "I used an old set of oversized chipboard alphas as a template to cut the letters "J-O-Y" out of some Prima "Spring Farmhouse" paper with a little bit of text detail. I added in some florals, lace and a chipboard sentiment, then piled the whole thing on top of some pretty plaid from the "Sweet Peppermint" collection."
And ... drum roll ... the winner of the prize package from our Old Fashioned Christmas Prompt is:
Rose from My Happy Place ... e-mail us your contact info, so we can get your prize on its way.
Link your texty masterpieces here by 6pm (EST) on Wednesday, June 5th. Keyword for galleries and Flickr is JB:19:11.

Fantastic challenge and beautiful cards, Belles! But.... isn't it JB:19:11? Last one was 10... maybe a typo????? xoxox
So the JinglesBelles are still ringing. It is so nice to see you . I was feeling nostalgic and did some walking around thru blogland. I lingered for a long time with TheCrookedStamper....I miss her so much. She is the one who encouraged me to step out of the woods and blog a little. So here I am saying hello to old friends. Who knows....maybe I will start blogging again. I like the theme of this challenge but I can't play because my stuff is buried under stuff if you know what I mean. I will try to visit again.

and WOW!!! just re-read post and see I was the winner of the AWESOME prize pack :) THANKS so much!!!
Sweet cards and a fun prompt. I think I will follow Stephanie's example and dig through my patterned papers. Penguins and snowmen also work for me. ;-)
